Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ProdStudio handles information when you use the website, hosted web app, macOS app, and related services.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to ProdStudio at prodstudio.dev, the ProdStudio web app, the ProdStudio macOS app, and related services.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to ben@woven.my.
2. Information You Provide
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- account information such as your name, email address, profile image, and authentication identifiers;
- support communications, feedback, and messages you send to us;
- chat prompts, responses, proposed plans, goals, and other content you submit in ProdStudio;
- files, notes, screenshots, images, and other attachments you choose to upload;
- diagnostics bundles or logs you choose to export and share with us.
3. Product And Device Information
To run the product, ProdStudio stores and processes information about your machines, repositories, workspaces, and agent activity. This can include machine name, platform, app version, operating system version, installation identifiers, online status, repository names, local paths, remote URLs, branch names, pull request metadata, git status summaries, workspace names, chat state, runtime events, command previews, file paths, model settings, token and cost usage summaries, task state, audit summaries, and product preferences.
The macOS app performs local operations on your machine. Local repository contents generally stay local unless you add them to a prompt, attachment, runtime context, diagnostics bundle, or an integration action you request.
4. Information From Third Parties
We receive information from services you use with ProdStudio. For example, authentication providers may provide account identifiers and profile details through Clerk. GitHub-related workflows may use repository, pull request, check, branch, and user information available through your local GitHub CLI session. AI runtimes and providers may return model output, tool events, usage data, errors, and session metadata.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, sync, secure, and operate ProdStudio;
- authenticate users and connect the web app, backend, and macOS app;
- run requested agent workflows, chats, tasks, file attachments, and integrations;
- show workspace, repository, machine, pull request, and runtime status;
- debug issues, respond to support requests, and improve reliability;
- detect abuse, enforce terms, and protect users and the service;
- comply with legal obligations.
6. AI Runtimes And Integrations
ProdStudio is designed to orchestrate AI coding runtimes and developer tools. When you use a runtime or integration, the information needed for that action may be sent to that provider or tool. This may include prompts, attachments, selected file contents, repository context, command output, tool results, and runtime settings.
ProdStudio does not manage the privacy practices of third-party AI providers, GitHub, Apple, or other services you connect or invoke. Review their terms and privacy policies before sending sensitive code, secrets, personal data, confidential material, or regulated data through them.
7. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- service providers that host, store, authenticate, sync, deliver updates, or help operate ProdStudio;
- AI providers, GitHub, local command-line tools, or other integrations when you direct ProdStudio to use them;
- support and security partners when needed to investigate issues or protect the service;
- authorities or third parties if required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security;
- a successor if ProdStudio is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
8. Cookies And Similar Technologies
The website and web app may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, preferences, and basic operation. ProdStudio does not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
9. Diagnostics And Logs
ProdStudio may keep operational logs needed to run and troubleshoot the service. The macOS app also lets you export a diagnostics bundle that includes app version, bundle identifier, macOS version, installation and machine identifiers, runtime detection summaries, recent task and audit summaries, and app logs. Diagnostics exports are redacted for common tokens and secrets, but you should review them before sharing.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including authenticated access, service-side authorization checks, and local macOS Keychain storage for certain app credentials. No internet service, local automation tool, or AI workflow can be made perfectly secure, so you should avoid submitting secrets or sensitive data unless it is necessary for your workflow.
11. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide ProdStudio, maintain your account, troubleshoot issues, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. Some local data remains on your device until you remove it. Some backend records may remain in backups or logs for a limited period after deletion.
12. Your Choices And Rights
You can sign out of ProdStudio, remove local repositories or workspaces, stop using integrations, delete local app data, and manage third-party accounts such as Clerk, GitHub, and AI providers directly with those services.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal information. To make a request, email ben@woven.my.
13. Children
ProdStudio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
14. International Use
ProdStudio and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have data protection laws different from your local laws.
15. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where practical.
